Limpkin - This large bird, found in open and wooded swamps, has a large head as well as a long bill, neck and legs. Its plumage is dark olive-brown. The upper parts of its body have a greenish sheen, and its feathers are streaked with white. The Limpkin prefers shallow water where it finds snails to eat.
